Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using wace.me ("the Site"), operated by WACE Inc. ("the Company"), and the rights and obligations of the Company and users.

Article 2 (What the Site is, and what it offers)

The Site presents the Company's products, services, and corporate information, and offers the following:

• Information on products, services, technology, and customer cases
• Intake of consultation requests
• Brochures and other materials through the resource library
• The Manufacturing AI Maturity Self-Assessment

The Site does not offer account registration, online payment, or software downloads. Use of the actual products and services is governed by a separate agreement between the Company and the customer and by the terms of the service concerned.

Article 3 (Publication and amendment of these Terms)

1. The Company publishes these Terms on the Site so that users can read them at any time.
2. The Company may amend these Terms within the limits of the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilisation and Information Protection, and other applicable law.
3. Where the Terms are amended, the Company will post the change and its effective date on this page at least 7 days in advance. Amendments unfavourable to users are posted at least 30 days in advance.
4. A user who does not accept an amendment may stop using the Site, and the Company will not apply the amended Terms to that user.

Article 4 (Nature of the information published)

1. Feature descriptions, stated benefits, cases, and pricing guidance on the Site are general information. Actual scope and results vary with each customer's environment.
2. Where pricing is shown, it is a standard reference. Final amounts are agreed separately according to the scope and scale of the deployment.
3. Publication on the Site alone does not form a contract between the Company and a user.

Article 5 (Manufacturing AI Maturity Self-Assessment)

1. The self-assessment applies fixed rules to the answers a user enters and returns a result for reference. It is not an evaluation based on a site survey or data verification, and it is not an accredited certification or rating.
2. Any product or service guidance in the result is derived from the Company's own criteria and within the range of products and services the Company offers. It does not warrant that a particular solution is needed or that it will produce a particular effect.
3. The Company publishes the scoring criteria and their limits on the results page. To question a result or request a review, write to report@wace.me; absent good reason to the contrary, a person will review and respond.
4. Users should treat the result as reference material only. Decisions on investment, purchase, or contracting rest with the user.

Article 6 (Resource library)

1. The Company provides brochures and similar materials through the resource library and sends download links to the email address you supply.
2. Copyright in those materials belongs to the Company or the rightful owner. You may use them for internal review; you may not distribute them externally or use them commercially without the Company's prior written consent.
3. The Company may change the content of the materials without prior notice.

Article 7 (Intellectual property)

1. Rights in all content on the Site — text, images, diagrams, video, design, trade marks, and logos — belong to the Company or the rightful owner.
2. You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, display, or create derivative works from that content without the Company's prior written consent.
3. Use permitted by copyright law, such as quotation with attribution, is not restricted.

Article 8 (Prohibited conduct)

When using the Site you must not:

• Interfere with the normal operation of the Site
• Generate excessive traffic by automated means, or scrape content without authorisation
• Impersonate another person or submit false information in a request or inquiry
• Infringe the rights of the Company or a third party, or breach applicable law

Article 9 (External links)

The Site may link to other sites the Company operates or to third-party sites. The Company is not responsible for the content of external sites it does not control, or for the results of using them.

Article 10 (Changes to and suspension of the service)

1. The Company may change what the Site offers and will give notice of material changes in advance.
2. The Company may suspend the service temporarily for maintenance, repair, or replacement of equipment, for loss of connectivity, or for other operational reasons. Planned suspensions are announced in advance; unforeseen suspensions are announced afterwards.

Article 11 (Limits of liability)

1. The Company works to keep the information on the Site accurate but, to the extent permitted by applicable law, is not liable for outcomes arising from the use of that information.
2. The Company is not liable where use of the Site is interrupted by force majeure, network failure, or other causes beyond its reasonable control.
3. The Company is not liable for access problems attributable to the user.
4. Paragraphs 1 to 3 do not apply to loss caused to a user by the wilful misconduct or gross negligence of the Company, its performance assistants, or its employees. The same applies wherever applicable law does not permit the Company's liability to be excluded.

Article 12 (Protection of personal information)

The Company protects users' personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act and other applicable law. The items and purposes of processing, retention periods, processors and transfers outside Korea, and how to exercise your rights are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Article 13 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms and the use of the Site are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes arising from use of the Site are brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
